Phishing prevention

The Aurox Wallet also protects the user from various phishing attacks.

While methods might be different, the end result of such is the same: the user shares the private key or seed phrase with the attacker. After that, the attacker immediately drains the wallet.

To prevent that, the Aurox Wallet extension detects when the user tries to paste the 12-word seed or the private key to any website. A strong warning message is displayed, preventing the user from falling prey to the attack.

The user, however, has the freedom to still copy and paste the phrase into a different wallet.
